This is a fantastic and super-rare early example of the iconic Rolex GMT The dial is original and has lovely pumpkin lume and the all-important Long-E Rolex signature - this is important, some of these late '60's GMT examples advertised on Chrono24 are listed as period but in fact the dial and hands are service replacements. The original bezel has a beautiful example of a 'Pink Lady' insert which is 100% correct for this period. The case has only been very lightly polished and it still has lovely chamfers to all the lugs. The 9315 Rolex bracelet has folded links and the date letter stamp for 1978, yes it is a replacement bracelet but the value alone is £2,500 The watch comes with the original box and a Rolex service guarantee card from April 2014 |
